Michael Forbes Memorial Snookerthon

Michael Vernal Forbes, 24th Octorber1956-3rd May 2021. Mick was our oldest volunteer with SHA from the very beginnings. Mick dedicated his time coaching and mentoring our disabled children of Sheffield teaching them the etiquettes of the sport of snooker and most importantly teaching our members life skills for over a decade. Everyone at SHA who met Mick has happy memories of laughing with Forbsey, he is a much loved member of the SHA family and will be dearly missed by all of us here at SHA.
To help raise money for Mick's funeral SHA be hosted a 24hr Snookerthon where Stephen Harrison MBE played snooker for 24 hours in memory of his good friend Michael Forbes. Stephen played all the staff and children at SHA and many of Mick's friends and family who volunteered their time to play snooker in dedication to Mick.
